MARVIN FALLS IN LOVE


In 1989,
Marvin Lewis, a restaurant owner from the mountain town of Nederland,Colorado, saw the "Spruce Goose" on a trip to Long Beach, CA. It was 'love at first sight'.

Marvin began a quest to build a twelve foot flying replica. For the next five years, his family stuck by him as his obsession grew.
Patrons to his restaurant watched the model take shape on a pool table.
In 1995. Marv and his wife Eileen sold the business and moved to Nebraska where a hugh garage was built in which to finish the project.

Marvin passed away in 1996
